Prosciutto-Wrapped Pears Recipe
TT Tip: For extra-crisp prosciutto-wrapped pears, after the pears have baked, adjust the oven rack to the upper-most position and broil the pears for 1 to 2 minutes. (Watch the pears as they cook as broiler intensity varies).

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup

- 12 slices (6 ounces) prosciutto, halved lengthwise
- 2 Bartlett pears--halved, cored and each half cut into 6 equal slices (24 slices total)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the maple syrup and 1½ tablespoons black pepper. Add the pears and toss to coat.
- Remove the pear slices from the maple syrup mixture and wrap each with a slice of prosciutto. Place the prosciutto-wrapped pears on the parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with the remaining ½ tablespoon black pepper.
- Bake until the prosciutto is crisp and begins to brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and serve warm.
