Kegged Wine And Rosé For Labor Day 2018

Each one holds up to 26 bottles of wine

It seems that lately, wine is being served in every possible vessel except for a glass bottle. Canned wine has reigned like Cersei over the Seven Kingdoms, and there was that 24-hour wine fountain in Italy. But there's another method you can try just in time for the end of summer: kegged wine.

Bridge Lane Wine of Lieb Cellars has come up with an idea so brilliant it's hard to believe no one's thought of it before—if ranch can be kegged, clearly it was just a matter of time. The available varieties include popular pours like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and rosé. And according to PureWow, one keg contains 26 bottles of wine—which is 130 glasses.

Each keg retails for $240, and can be ordered online and shipped across the country. And while, of course, this isn't the first wine to be put inside a tap, it's definitely the most party-friendly for Labor Day.
