Summer on Sligo
Recipe adapted from Gordon Banks
Yield: 1 cocktail
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
2 ounces bourbon
1⁄2 ounce fresh lime juice
3⁄4 ounce simple syrup (1 part sugar dissolved in 1 part water)
3 Thai basil leaves, torn, plus an additional leaf for garnish
Directions
1. Add all ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
2. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with the additional basil leaf and serve.
